Two weeks in...oh and the Tiger's sweep the Yankees!

Almost there, just a few days and few steps more

Today marked the two week milestone since surgery day. Dad is still working on getting some strength back and walking about. Brendan and I are still working on the lawn and house. I muscled up the John Deere tractor yesterday and took her for a spin around the lawn. The only trouble was the grass was so long due to not cutting it in three weeks I had to rake the remainder of the grass today. Brendan worked on installing another plug and finishing up the upstairs outlet. He then broke out the outdoor fireplace and filled it to the gills with wood debris to get rid of it.

I talked to our neighbor Karen for a bit and she was asking how everything was going. I told her hopefully NEXT WEEK, they are going to let Dad come home.

I bought a few Halloween window decorations for the kids today. Lilly and Kylie thought they were fun to play with.

Tomorrow, Mom and I have more training so we are heading back in after Zumba in the morning.

Cross your fingers that Tuesday he is able to come home and that will be exactly one month from where this journey began!

Thanks everyone for absolutely EVERYTHING you have done for us. We all really appreciate all the extra effort everyone has made on our behalf.
